Sensory Innovation Grants

WTSDA grants are designed to advance projects by innovators in the fields of taste and scent and deepen the impact of their work.

Grants will be awarded in three categories:

• Taste of Tomorrow: This grant will be offered to a project that advances the practice or knowledge in the field of taste and flavor

• Smell of the Future: This grant will be offered to a project that advances the practice or knowledge in the field of smell and olfaction.

• Sensory Luminary: One or more grants will support a project related to World Taste and Smell Day

Priority will be to fund projects that deploy new techniques, new strategies, and new ways of engaging communities. Individuals or collaborators worldwide over the age of 18 will be eligible to apply. Projects in the following areas, and more, will be welcome:

• Innovation/Technology

• Art

• Food/Beverage

• Science

• Fragrance

• Media

The World Taste and Smell Association intends these grants to support professional development and the capacity to complete a project rather than to fund “business as usual.” Public engagement will be a key criteria for the Sensory Ambassador awards.

Selection committee to include notable professionals from perfume, flavor, tech and media, as well as the World Taste and Smell Association Board of Directors.

Your contribution will help pave a way for the future. Support our cause.
